- The Flour Workshop Production Operator contributes to daily results including safety, quality, and productivity within the department. The Production Operator monitors the industrial equipment and processes ensuring the safest and most efficient work environment possible. Areas under their influence include Roquette’s highly automated processing equipment, laboratory control, basic maintenance trouble shooting, and workshop cleanliness.- KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Responsible for process control and monitoring on HMI system
- Monitor industrial equipment and perform basic maintenance-
- Record maintenance work orders in SAP
- Participate in truck load out
- Conduct the diagnosis following process incidents and report any anomalies to leadership
- Responsible of the chemical cleaning in place (CIP) of the equipment-
- Participate in incident investigation and root-cause analysis
- Participate in the performance daily meetings to share process information with all departments- QUALIFICATIONS:- Experience working as part of an hourly production team member in an industrial manufacturing environment
- Post-secondary education or related work experience in the food industry-
- Proven understanding of SAP or working with an HMI in a related industry is an asset
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel & Word) in a manufacturing environment
- Strong communication skills (written and oral)
