We currently have three locations in Thunder Bay, Ontario**:St. Vincent school **(150 Redwood Avenue West - offers infant through school age programming), **St. Ann school **(1130 Georgina Avenue - offers toddler through school age programming), and **St. Elizabeth school **(735 Selkirk Street - offers before and after school care only). We work as a cohesive team which means supporting each other and supporting our centres to be the best that we can be.

This position will work Monday through Friday at 8 hours per day within our hours of operation (7:30 AM to 5:30 PM) and shifts are determined in response to the care needs of our programs.
- Diploma in Early Childhood Education or equivalent education and experience (other equivalent qualifications include a diploma or degree in Child and Youth Care, a diploma or degree in Recreation and Leisure Services, or a member in good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers)
- Membership in good standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators
- Knowledge of relevant legislation including the _Child Care and Early Years Act_ and the _How Does Learning Happen? _Pedagogical document
- Standard First Aid and CPR, level C (with infant and child CPR) certification from a WSIB-approved program
- Current (within 6 months) clear Vulnerable Sector Criminal Reference Check
- Up-to-date immunization record
- Knowledge of the Anishinaabemowin language and Indigenous traditions, teachings, and culture are assets
- Creative thinking with a flair for designing fun and educational programming

Please note that permanent positions range from $17.75-$23.25/hr for unqualified educators (depending on experience in child care) and $20.25-$25.50/hr for qualified educators (depending on experience in child care). Please also note that these wages do not include any government funding such as the Provincial Wage Enhancement grant ($2.00/hour) or CWELCC Workforce Compensation funding (up to $2.00/hour).
