We specialize in creating unforgettable experiences while raising funds and awareness for local charities and not-for-profits. Our flagship property, the Great Outdoors Comedy Festival (GOCF), is now the largest outdoor comedy festival in Canada. We are proud to create an inclusive and safe space that celebrates all forms of comedy — from local talent to household names — while spreading laughter, joy, and positive impact coast to coast. **The Opportunity**: Trixstar and the Great Outdoors Comedy Festival (GOCF) are on the hunt for a creative, organized, and festival-loving **Content Manager**to bring our stories to life across every stage, screen, and social feed. This role is the strategic and creative force behind our social media and branded content efforts, responsible for growing our audience and amplifying our sponsors, partners, and talent. From hilarious artist promos to high-energy event coverage, you’ll help shape the voice of GOCF and ensure every post packs a punch. **What You’ll Do**: - **Lead Content Strategy**:Develop and execute a cross-channel content strategy for both **B2B (sponsors & partners)**and **B2C (ticket buyers & fans)**audiences that supports ticket sales, sponsorship fulfillment, and brand visibility. - **Own the Content Calendar**:Build and manage a content calendar with key dates, announcements, sponsor integrations, artist features, and pre-show/event content moments. - **Grow & Engage Audiences**:Drive organic growth through audience-first content, platform-specific tactics, and smart community engagement across channels such as Instagram, TikTok, X, LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube, etc. - **Champion Event Storytelling**:Plan and execute pre-show and live-event content—including photo, video, and real-time coverage. Coordinate photographers and videographers to ensure all key moments are captured. - **Support Artists & Mascots**:Collaborate with talent teams and artist management to develop engaging content and PR assets, plus create character-driven moments featuring our brand mascots. - **Elevate Our Partners**:Develop sponsor and product-specific content that highlights brand activations, merchandise, and integrations in a compelling, shareable way. - **Build Destination Appeal**:Help position our event cities as travel-worthy destinations by highlighting local culture, attractions, food scenes, and unique experiences. With 40-60% of our attendees traveling to our events, this content plays a key role in inspiring tourism and extended stays. - **Oversee Content Production**:Manage freelance creatives and vendors during peak production periods. Provide shot lists, creative briefs, and ensure content aligns with brand standards. - **Research for Relevance**:Stay plugged into artist rosters, sponsor brands, and pop culture to surface timely, shareable content tailored to each platform and audience. - **Lead Creative Collaboration**:Run a weekly "writers’ room" with internal creatives and contributors. Facilitate idea generation, refine concepts, and turn group brainstorms into clear, executable content pieces. - **Create Downloadable Sales Content**:Develop whitepapers and lead-generating digital downloads to support our partnerships and sponsorship teams in warming up prospective leads. - **Shoot, Edit, and Produce Video**:Storyboard, film, and edit original video content—from quick social reels to full-length commercials and branded sizzle reels. - **Measure What Matters**:Track content performance and adjust strategy based on analytics, audience behavior, and emerging trends. **What You Bring**: - 3-5+ years in a content, brand, or social media marketing role (experience in live events or entertainment is a major plus) - Experience leading both B2C and B2B content initiatives - Excellent writing, editing, and digital storytelling skills - Strong experience in video shooting, editing, and basic drone operation for dynamic content capture - Familiarity with artist management, influencer collaborations, and talent partnerships - Familiarity with Tradable Bits or other audience engagement tools will be considered a major bonus - Comfortable working with sponsors and corporate partners in a brand-conscious environment - Ability to balance creative vision with executional excellence and attention to detail - Strategic mindset, strong project management skills, and the ability to juggle multiple campaigns - Flexible schedule, with ability to travel and work some early morning
