**Job Description**:
We are currently hiring for **Full** **Time General Helpers **to work in cafeteria a**t Durham College.**

You will be responsible for the following aspects of the customer service experience:

- Receiving and stocking food, supplies, and inventory.
- Working in an assigned location (station, cash or dishwashing)
- Short Order Cooking
- Washing dishes and post meal prep clean up.
- Cash Handling
- Communicates in a timely and appropriate manner to all levels any problems, progress and changes in policies and procedures.
- Promotes and maintains the Quality Assurance Health and Safety Program Qualifications
- Other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**:

- ** FULL TIME AVAILABILITY A MUST OR WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED. MONDAY TO FRIDAY.**:

- Safe Food Handling preferred
- but not a must
- Able to clear a criminal records check
- Detail oriented; strong organizational skills
- Ability to work both independently and in team setting as required.
- Good customer service orientation with previously demonstrated customer service experience.
- Good command of English language, both verbal and written; ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Previous food service experience in healthcare, hotel, restaurant or fast food considered an asset.
