**The Role**:
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive **Operations Manager** to oversee routing, scheduling, dispatch operations, and driver coordination. This role is vital to maintaining the efficiency and reliability of our transit services and ensuring a seamless experience for passengers.
**Responsibilities**:
- Direct, monitor, and oversee the routing and scheduling of drivers to ensure timely service.
- Ensure daily coverage of all routes and charter work.
- Support dispatchers and drivers in resolving issues related to routes, vehicles, customer service inquiries, complaints, and emergencies.
- Oversee the hiring, onboarding, and training of dispatch staff to meet operational needs.
- Train, mentor, and support dispatch staff to improve efficiency and communication.
- Ensure accurate documentation and reporting of driver hours, payroll records, and operational data.
- Communicate all relevant details of driving assignments to drivers to ensure proper execution and punctuality.
- Maintain professional communication with stakeholders, including school boards and parents/guardians, regarding inquiries or issues related to students, drivers, and routes.
- Enforce company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures.
- Answer phones and two-way radios professionally and courteously.
- Provide regular reports to senior management regarding operations, service performance, and any significant incidents.
- Perform additional tasks or duties as needed to support the operational needs of the company.
**Requirements**:
- Experience in transit operations, dispatch, or transportation management.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills to oversee staff and operational logistics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with drivers, dispatchers, and stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks efficiently.
- High attention to detail with a strong commitment to safety and service excellence.
- Flexibility to work various hours, including some evenings and weekends as needed.

Pay: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
