Journeyman/woman Plumber/gasfitter

**Project Overview**

We are hiring for a position at the BHP Jansen mine for a short term 3-4 week project, with potential for future position on our team. The project will work 5 days a week and 10 hours per day. Camp accomodations/meals will be provided.

**Job Overview**

**Duties**:

- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential, commercial & industrial settings
- Interpret schematics and blueprints to plan plumbing installations
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve plumbing & HVAC issues
- Perform basic math calculations for measurements and material estimates
- Installation of HVAC on integrated projects
- Engage in heavy lifting as required for equipment and materials

**Requirements**:

- Journeyman/Journeywoman or equivalent certification as a Plumber
- Proficiency in reading and understanding schematics and blueprints
- Strong mechanical aptitude and experience with power tools
- Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks safely
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

**Assets**
- TSASK gas licence
- experience on industrial projects
- experience with HVAC and Gas Piping

Pay: $36.00-$40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 50 - 70 per week

**Experience**:

- plumbing: 5 years (required)
- HVAC: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Gas licence (preferred)

Work Location: On the road
