_**Crania Schools **_is known for its _**high-quality educational programs **_in _**Math, Coding, Robotics, English, and Piano**_, and its customer-focused service model. We are a responsible employer in the local region that gives back to its local and global community in a variety of ways. With two locations conveniently situated in Kitchener-Waterloo near public transit, we are looking for co-op students to assist with delivery of programs, and curriculum development as needed._
- If you are a _**very energetic **_and _**responsible **_individual with a _**passion for sharing knowledge and helping others**_, join us as we serve our community. You will be a key contributor in creating and delivering our well-reputed STEM programs._
- _**Teaching **_Math, English, Piano, Coding and/or Robotics both in-person and/or virtually as required._
- _**Maintaining **_student records including student performance and attendance._
- _**Developing **_curricula and creating educational materials, as needed._
- _**Communicating **_with customers as necessary._
- _Working with administrative and classroom _**software**_._
- _Maintaining _**cleanliness and order **_in the center._
- _Ensuring classroom _**supplies **_are stocked and _**technical equipment **_is functioning and charged at the end of each class._
- _**Opening and closing **_center as needed._
- _**Administrative tasks**_, as needed._
- _Other duties as requested by the Director and his/her delegate_

**REQUIRED**:

- _Strong background in _**mathematics, english, piano coding and/or robotics**_._
- _**STEM skills **_and knowledge._
- _Strong _**computer skills**_._
- _Demonstrated _**teaching ability and passion**_._
- _**Punctuality**_, _**reliability **_and _**responsibility**_._
- _Ability to work _**co-operatively **_and _**respectfully **_with the Director, parents, students and other employees of Crania Schools._
- _**Excellent communication skills**_, both oral and written, and ability to accurately follow directions from the Director and his/her delegate._
- _Ability to _**maintain confidentiality **_and to be worthy of the trust required to teach students under the age of 18 at Crania Schools._
- _**Quick learner **_with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively._
- _**Creative**_, _**innovative **_and willing to contribute ideas._

**NICE-TO-HAVE**:

- _Coding experience, e.g. HTML/CSS, JavaScript and/or Python._
- IB/AP Program._
- _Piano experience._

**CERTIFICATION**:

- Current Vulnerable Sector Check and Standard First Aid with CPR C required prior to commencing position._

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 4 months

**Salary**: $16.00-$20.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Evening shift
- Weekends as needed
