**Position Highlights**:
We currently have an exciting full-time opportunity for a **Lead in Facilities Transition and Activation**, a service branch within the Fraser Health Facilities Management team. In this role you will lead the Facilities Transition and Activation work to prepare the new or renovated facilities for operational use and prepare our Clinical and Operational teams to work in the new facilities. In addition, you will support Facilities Management Capital projects with a Community, Acute and Special Focus. Located primarily at Central City in Surrey, B.C. but will provide onsite presence and support during the transition/occupancy period at various locations within the Fraser Health Authority.

- Provide consultation and support functions to clients requiring project and change management services for facility transition and activation deliverables in a facilities healthcare infrastructure project.
- Act as a project and change management consultant lead for the assigned Facilities Transition and Activation portfolio(s), through the planning, development, integration, implementation, monitoring and reporting of the various project phases and deliverables.
- Collaborate and consult with relevant internal and external partners in order to assess and identify Facilities Transition and Activation needs for the designated area or department
- In partnership with clinical and work stream leads, provide coordination and project management for the clinical departments and project workstreams to achieve the Facilities Transition and Activation deliverables, ensuring they align with the capital project or redevelopment project strategies; are integrated across impacted departments, and promote a common goal.
- Function as a key resource for the project team and operational and clinical teams to ensure that an optimal structure and approach are in place to achieve desired outcomes.
- Provide coordination throughout all phases of the change initiative; develop and implement assigned transformation initiatives within a strategic change context. Ensure that an optimal plan/structure is in place to achieve the desired outcomes and benefits.
- Negotiate and facilitate resolution to impediments to progress the success on behalf of the client arising from project/change management initiatives.
- Identify and manage key client strategies and works closely with Communications to develop Facilities Transition and Activation communication strategies.

**Here is what we would like you to have**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Health Science, Business Administration, Leadership, Organizational Development or related field, supplemented with project management, change management and leadership courses
- Minimum five (5) years recent, related project and change management experience, including experience involving complex, multi-disciplinary projects within a wide range of partner groups
- An equivalent combination of education, training and experience is acceptable.

Certification in Project Management (PMP/CAPM), and /or Change Management (PROSCI and/or CCMP) is a preferred asset.

The Lead, Facilities Transition and Activation, works collaboratively with internal and external partners to facilitate operational readiness, facility activation and transition priorities by providing project and change management expertise and support to the overall Capital or Redevelopment project and site operations.

This role works in partnership with key clinical operations leadership, partner areas and the project team to develop and optimize integrated operational readiness, transition and facility activation planning and execution by providing consultation and support to clients to achieve the key deliverables and milestones within the assigned portfolio(s).
