- As a _**Labourer Supervisor**_at CIMS LP, you will be a key contributor towards CIMS success by overseeing and coordinating daily activities of unionized labourer crews and acting as a key liaison between workers, management, and union representatives while embodying CIMS corporate values of _**Our People, Our Promise, Our Passion.**_
- **You will report to the CIMS Site Senior Representative and be accountable for**:_
- Supervising, directing, and coordinating daily activities of labourer crews in compliance with union regulations and site-specific requirements.
- Leading by example in promoting a safety-first culture. Ensure all work is performed in strict adherence to safety protocols, occupational health and safety regulations, and company policies.
- Maintaining positive working relationships with the client, CIMS operations team, Local 1611 members and union representatives.
- A minimum of 5+ years of labour experience in heavy industrial, construction environment.
- 2+ years of supervisory experience overseeing unionized crews.
- Familiarity with labour certification requirements such as fire watch, confined space entry and traffic control.
- A self-starting, team player attitude and is willing to work collaboratively towards achieving the strategic goals of the company.
- A demonstrated ability to estimate site needs and plan a work schedule including resource requirements.
- **Working conditions**_you can expect while performing your role:

- Will be required to work outside in varying weather conditions.
- Will be required to work in a portable trailer on client sites with adequate lighting and temperature.
- Working in operating plant facilities, including pulp mills, refineries, and smelters.
- Working in high-stress situations (i.e. investigations, and meeting deadlines).

Pay: From $57.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40.00 per week

- Industrial labour: 2 years (preferred)
- Supervisory: 2 years (preferred)
