Plumber and Gasfitter

**Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems and fixtures in residential and commercial properties.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine the layout of plumbing systems.
- Perform routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify potential issues or necessary repairs.
- Assemble and install pipes, fittings, valves, and fixtures using various tools and techniques.
- Conduct heavy lifting as required for installations and repairs.
- Collaborate with other trades when necessary to ensure integrated system functionality.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and any issues encountered.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and building codes during installations and repairs.

**Experience**
- Proven experience as a Plumber and Gas-fitter.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and specialized plumbing equipment.
- Familiarity with HVAC systems is a plus.
- Strong understanding of basic math principles for measurements and calculations related to plumbing tasks.
- Ability to read schematics and technical documents related to plumbing installations.
- A background in carpentry may be advantageous for certain installation tasks.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $22.00-$42.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 20 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
