**Early Childhood Educator(s)**
Full Time and Casual Early Childhood Educators to work alongside our Executive Director in organizing, planning and implementing activities to support a quality early learning program at our child care centre located in Central Butte, Saskatchewan. Wage and benefits are negotiable and will be based on qualifications and experience.

**Position Summary**
Early Childhood Educators will be responsible to W&W's Executive Director. We are looking for individuals who enjoy working with children and are able to provide a safe, creative, nurturing and fun environment that promotes healthy growth and development for the children in our communities.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
Listed below are duties and responsibilities of ECE employees, included but not limited to:

- Assisting the Executive Director and Floor Supervisor in developing and implementing a quality early learning and child care program
- Providing care that prioritizes children’s overall safety, security and wellbeing
- Fostering a positive environment that is inclusive and accepting of children’s beliefs, wishes and culture
- Leading activities such as reading, telling stories, teaching songs and providing opportunities to express creativity through arts and crafts, dramatic play, music and physical activity
- Guiding and assisting children in development of healthy eating, dressing and

toileting habits
- Assisting with meal preparation
- Assisting with administrative duties such as preparing reports, record keeping and attending staff meetings
- Maintaining child care equipment and assisting with cleaning, sanitizing and keeping the child care centre in an overall state of cleanliness
- Following centre operational policies and procedures as intended in the
Employee Manual
- Establishing collaborative relationships with children, parents, coworkers and
CBCCI’s Board of Directors

**Education and Requirements**
**- ** ECE Level I, II or III *applicants working towards this certification or willing to work towards it may also apply

**- **First Aid and CPR
- Criminal Record Search
- 16 years of age or older and legally entitled to work in Canada

**Skills and Abilities**
- Experience in an early learning and child care environment
- High level of emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and together as part of a team
- Safe Food Handling Certificate
- Understanding of The Child Care Regulations, 2015 and The Child Care Act, 2014

**Applications**

Pay: $16.00-$32.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Central Butte, SK: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Licence/Certification:

- ECE certification (preferred)
