**JOB SUMMARY**

The Personal Trainer’s purpose is to build a client base that contributes to departmental revenues by providing the highest quality of customer service and by actively supporting marketing programs and services that promote acquisition of new members. A Personal Trainer provides their clientele with the knowledge, motivation and coaching to achieve their personal fitness goals. A Personal Trainer’s scope of practice precludes the offering of medical advice or diagnosis. We are looking or both male and Female trainers.

**REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES**
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and time management skills
- Working knowledge of safe conditioning procedures related to various types of free weight equipment, selectorized weight equipment, plate-loaded, and cardiovascular equipment
- Willingness to work all shifts
- A passion for fitness.
- Follow the dress code standards provided by Fuzion Fitness.

**REQUIRED EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE**
- A minimum of two years education in the field of exercise science or a related field and at least two years experience in a similar position;
- or a Bachelor’s degree in exercise science; or a combination of education and experience Current Personal Training certification from Canfit Pro or other nationally recognized certification body
- Current CPR and First Aid certificate (must be obtained within 30 days of hire) Actively pursues opportunities for continuing education as well as personal and professional growth

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
