**Job summary**

AD WATERS, a company specializing in the field of plumbing with over 30 years of experience has developed a deep knowledge and expertise of the North American market and its specificities. We are currently looking for warehouse agent for our branch located in Vaughan.

The incumbent will act as a general assistant within the warehouse and will be required to perform a variety of tasks as required. Thus, he will be able to take care of the warehousing, the maintenance of the warehouse, to help with the preparation of the orders, the reception or the shipment of goods.

**Tasks and responsibilities**

Picking orders

Packing orders on pallets, including shrink wrapping, strapping & labeling as required

Carry the packaging of the goods by putting them in correctly identified boxes

Assist in receiving the goods

Help empty goods of trucks/containers

Make sure the items are well placed on the shelves based on item type and size

Regularly check that the goods are in the right place

Ensure picked items for orders to be shipped are not broken or damaged and notify the immediate supervisor if this is the case

Bring orders from the warehouse to the packing area

Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the warehouse on a daily basis

Move any obstructions (boxes, products, etc.) that may be on the floor and affect the health and safety of employees

Other related tasks

**Qualifications**

Completed Secondary School Diploma

Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar position

Forklift certification (an asset)

**Skills, Knowledge and Capabilities**

Ability to work in a team

Sense of initiative

Fast and accurate execution of tasks

Quick learner

Ability to meet deadlines

Ability to tolerate repetition

Ability to work standing over a long period of time

Ability to lift heavy loads (max 40lbs)

Knowledge of Epicor software or an ERP (an asset)
