**1year contract role**

**Responsibilities**:
Ensure the health, comfort and safety of our Customers
Demolition of work area
Minor framing
Drywall installation, repair, patch or replace
Drywall service experience
Restoration work
Stipple and orange peel texture repair an asset
Compound preparation for finishing
Mudding and taping, which includes sealing joints between wallboard or plasterboard
Drywall sanding and finishing
Skim coating
Assist team as needed

**Experience and Educational Requirements**:
3 to 5 years of experience
Knowledge of fire-rated drywall products to ensure compliance with fire codes
Knowledge of basic tools
Asbestos knowledge and experience

**Technical Requirements**:
Ability to learn in house programs
Familiarity with computer tablets is an asset

**Non-Technical Requirements**:
Ability to work independently and with other Associates in a team environment
Exceptional organizational, interpersonal and time-management skills
Ability to communicate effectively
Deadline and goal oriented
Ability to spend up to eight hours walking, standing, climbing stairs, lifting
Participate in additional formal training
Use and promote safe working practices
