**About the Opportunity**:
Reporting to the Director, MHA and/or designate, the Transcriptionist performs dictation & Health Records management services in accordance with established procedures of MHA. The Transcriptionist meets standards of professionalism which reflect the vision, mission, goals and objectives and adheres to the policies & procedures of MHA and NSH.
The Transcriptionist ensures that the principles and practices that guide NSH such as expected behaviors, the leadership philosophy, organizational health, population health, ethics, safety, partnerships & interprofessional collaboration, quality are integrated within the services they provide.
**About You**:
- Graduate of a recognized office administration/secretarial program with medical terminology is required
- One (1) year recent clerical experience, Mental Health & Addictions experience preferred
- Minimum typing speed of 60 wpm
- Highly developed proficiency in Microsoft Office software (Word, Outlook, etc.)
- Experience with E-scription
- Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred

**Compensation and Incentives**:
$20.25 - $22.50 Hourly
