CAREGIVER / NURSE
To assist an employed and educated man with a pleasant disposition, who has a physical disability, with personal care and light housekeeping, according to daily needs. A detailed care plan will be provided to outline client needs. Will provide training with an RN on the specific self-directed routine. No lifting required; not a heavy-care client.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Able to take direction from employer and accept responsibility in a flexible manner.
- Able to maintain good communication and cooperation with employer and co-workers.
- Able to maintain professionalism and confidentiality.
- Willing to provide personal assistance and help with household tasks.
- Dependable, reliable and punctual.
EDUCATION:
- PSW, PCA and RPN designations are an asset.
- Resume and references required.
WORKPLACE LOCATION:
Carleton Place - Private, non-smoking, family residence.
PARTICULARS:
Assistance with ADLs and light household tasks - full job description is available on request.
WAGE:
$22.00/hr - travel compensation.
SCHEDULE:
Monday to Friday:
6:00 am start
Saturday and Sunday:
7:00 am or 8:00 am. (flexible start time)
A few evenings throughout the week - 6:00pm or 8:00 pm start.
**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent, Casual
**Salary**: $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 2 - 10 per week
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Holidays
- On call
- Weekends as needed
