**Job description**:
Sun Glow Window Covering Products of Canada Ltd. manufactures custom roller shades and is seeking of an individuals to join the production team and manufacture finished products, maintain a clean and organized workplace, assist in various departments such as shipping, material handling and warehousing.

**Location**: East York (Eglinton and Victoria Park)

**Shift**: 7.00am-3.30pm (Monday to Friday)

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Loading and unloading inventory from loading docks, delivery trucks, storage areas, and production areas
- Ensuring all incoming delivery matches the company purchase order
- Storing cargo in assigned locations using cargo boards and pallets
- Managing inventory by identifying, cataloging, and recording the location of inventory
- Recording the number of units handled and moved every day using production sheets
- Tracking supply levels and regularly submitting purchasing recommendations
- Complying with all safety and health regulations
- Quality inspections completed from previous and current station
- Ability to lift 50lbs regularily (but may be required to lift up to 70lbs on occasion)
- Ensuring safe and careful handling of all material and products
- Observe company safety and security procedures
- Report unsafe conditions; use equipment and materials properly
- Hand tools to be used as required for each assigned station(s)
- Be available for work on weekends if required (occasionally)
- Other duties and tasks as requested

- Demonstration of being productive, proactive and enthusiastic
- Ability to work independently and with mínimal supervision
- Receptive to development of current skills and changes to processes and assigned station(s)
- Flexible schedule to allow for extra hours, morning or evening shifts, and occasional week end work

- Must be able to multi task and flexible to shift across multiple stations as required
- Results oriented and sense of urgency to complete tasks on time
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Excellent problem solving, teamwork, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and with little supervision
- Ability left 50lbs on a daily basis

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $18.00-$19.00 per hour
