Caldas Building Services is looking for an experienced Janitorial cleaner It is a positive work environment at a great location, and Caldas Building Services will work with individuals interested in training and advancement to a possible permanent position.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Emptying waste bins and transporting them to a designated location.
- Floor care such as mopping, vacuuming and spot cleaning.
- Dust window ledges and baseboards.
- Clean high touch surfaces
- Service washrooms.
- Replenish consumable items such as soap, toilet paper, paper towels, etc.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the shift supervisor.
- Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floor and fixtures.
- Always maintains the cleanliness and sanitation of assigned area.
- Keeping housekeeping equipment clean and report equipment in need of repair to the Manager following standard procedure.

**Requirements**:

- Respect the equipment and cleaning supplies provided.
- Respect the client’s property.
- Be prompt and on time for all scheduled shifts.
- Familiar with cleaning and janitorial services. Previous experience is preferred but not necessary.
- Be able to stand for extended periods of time, reach, bend and lift safely.
- Must follow all required priorities.
- Working knowledge of safe lifting methods.
- Able to work efficiently as a part of a team as well as independently.
- Attention to detail in all areas of work.
- Good organizational, time management and prioritizing skills.
- Strong work ethic and positive team attitude.
- Lifting or moving up to 50 lbs may be required.

**Education**: Able to communicate in English both verbally and in writing.

**Salary**: $16.50 - $18.00 per hour

**Schedule**:

- 8-hour shift
- 8:00am - 4:00pm, 4:00pm - 12:00am
- Rotating 7 days a week schedule

**COVID-19 precaution(s)**
- Social distancing guidelines in place when possible
- Sanitizing, disinfecting, or cleaning procedures in place
- PPE provide for shifts (disposable gloves, mask )

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 30-48 per week

**Salary**: $16.50-$18.00 per hour
