GFD Canada is searching for a highly qualified marketing enthusiast to provide marketing insight and support. The role is responsible for ensuring GFD's marketing and brand strategy are consistent within our customer base, as well as with prospective customers, as we grow our business nationally.

In this role, you will quickly develop a comprehensive understanding of our customer group, the sector, and growth opportunities. You will participate in a wide variety of marketing and membership planning activities, translating plans into action. Ultimately, you will be leading and providing support in creating exceptional marketing programs within our customer base and growth segments.
- Lead the implementation of marketing programs from start to finish, leveraging internal support and encouraging collaboration.
- Identify, recommend, and develop brand positioning strategies including identifying target audiences, and recommending and implementing marketing plans with specific objectives across different channels and segments.
- Create MarComm content strategy, develop quarterly communications plans and execute on the plans.
- Conceptualize, plan and execute GFD corporate events.
- Monitor and protect the GFD brand by reviewing materials, ensuring campaigns and marketing collateral are aligned with strategy, and confirming they are being implemented as intended.
- Analyze customer insights, industry trends, market analysis, and marketing best practices to build successful strategies, increase member conversions and generate more qualified leads.
- Lead and manage website strategy, including incorporating strong SEO tactics.
- Provide support with other external and internal events, including planning and logistics.
- Work with Business Development Team to design, test, and evolve lead-nurturing tactics.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's Degree or College Diploma in marketing or communications
- 3-5 years' experience working in the financial services or a related industry
- Experience leading projects.
- Tech-savvy understanding of the MarComm tech stack
- Experience using Microsoft Office WordPress
- Experience using Adobe Suite an asset
