Sign Installer & Service Technician

We are looking for an outgoing, attention-to-detail, full-time Sign Installation & Service Technician for our Calgary Branch.

Onsite Sign is based in Lloydminster, AB and is one of the top-leading sign manufacturing companies in Western Canada. We ship our signs to our installation divisions which are located in Calgary, Acheson, Regina, and Saskatoon.

Duties & Expectations:

- Working knowledge of sign industry & installation methods.
- Ability to read & understand drawings related to sign installation.
- Strong verbal & written communication skills.
- Inspection of freight.
- Experience using manual & power tools.
- Loading/securing materials & hauling experience.
- Servicing & troubleshooting signs.
- Ability to perform comprehensive surveys and submit electronically.
- Fluent with computers and handheld devices.
- Consistently demonstrate sound safety practices and completion of required safety documentation.
- Operate and maintain fleet vehicle as per National Safety Code (E-logs, pre-trip inspections)
- The ability to lift up to approx. 50 lbs.
- Able to work at heights (in excess of 15feet)
- Experience working in various weather conditions.
- Ability to work alone or as part of a team.
- Must be reliable, punctual, trustworthy & flexible.
- Overtime and out of town work involved.

Qualifications:

- Safety certification in Fall Protection, Aerial Lift, Cargo Securement, Hours of Service is an asset.
- Aerial Boom/Crane Experience or Certification.
- Must display professional driving aptitude and have a VALID 3 or 5 Driver's Licence, clean abstract, and reliable transportation.

Position is Monday to Friday, with some weekend work required.

Wage is dependent on experience.
