Boeing Canada Operations Ltd. is seeking a Contracts **Procurement Agent - Associate or Mid-Career**, reporting to the Supply Chain Manager for Contracts and Strategy, working out of the **Winnipeg, Manitoba** office. The Contracts **Procurement Agent - Associate or Mid-Career** will join the Supplier Chain Department, become part of a dynamic team and will be working with internal and external stakeholders.
**Position Responsibilities**:
- Supports sourcing strategies, negotiations and documenting of contracts and agreements.
- Communicates performance expectations and metrics to evaluate and monitor supplier performance.
- Integrates program, customer, product and in-service strategies into source selection, negotiation and contracting strategies.
- Negotiates pricing and contract terms and conditions.
- Prepares and executes negotiated contractual documents and binding agreements.
- Conducts risk, issues and opportunities management.
- Creates risk mitigation plans and monitors performance to those plans.
- Manages supply and demand, schedules, supplier quality, delivery and financial performance.
- Initiates and executes supplier improvement activities and integrates results into contracting strategies.
- Collaborates cross-functionally with operations, finance, and engineering teams.
- Demonstrates strong business acumen by assessing supplier’s business and operational health.

**Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)**:
- 1+ years of experience in Supply Chain Management
- 1+ years of experience in supporting supplier contract negotiations
- Post-Secondary Education
- Able and willing to travel domestically and international as needed (up to 10-20% of the time)
- Must be legally able to work in Canada
- Individual must not pose a risk for safeguarding of controlled goods
- Must be eligible to handle US export-controlled data
**Preferred Qualifications (Education/Experience)**:
- 3+ years of experience in Supply Chain Management
- 3+ years of experience in supporting supplier contract negotiations
- Bachelor degree or higher in Supply Chain Management, Accounting, Finance, Business or a related field or equivalent
- Experience working with SAP or other MPR system
- Experience implementing process or strategy improvements and an applied understanding of Lean practices
- Experience with project management tools and processes
**Typical Education and Experience**:
- ** Associate (Level 2)**
- Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+1 years' related work experience, 7 years' related work experience, etc.).
- ** Mid-Career (Level 3)**
- Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).
