Conavi Medical’s Novasight Hybrid System enables simultaneous imaging of coronary arteries with both intravascular ultrasound (IVUS) and Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT).
If you would like to be a part of our growing and talented team that is making a difference in healthcare, we are currently looking for a part-time _(2-3 days per week)_ Associate Chief Medical Officer to be a key driver of the development and promotion of Conavi’s mínimally invasive image guidance solutions including administering clinical or research studies and sharing expertise within and outside the organization.
In this position, you will:
- Share medical and healthcare institutional expertise related to imaging guidance technologies as required throughout Conavi including in the following functions:
- Product Management activities such as product requirements, feedback, iterations, Clinical Advisory Board, marketing, and clinical education for internal or external audiences
- Risk management and product testing activities
- Software development activities and strategies
- Manage and administer Conavi’s participation in clinical or research studies that may be either industry-sponsored or investigator-initiated including leading and / or assisting with:
- Drafting of research protocols, budgets, consent forms, case report forms, research agreements
- Education related to the studies
- Ensuring data completeness and integrity
- Event reporting
- Contributing to analysis and dissemination of results
- Identify and share medical imaging trends and developments
- Establish productive relationships with leading Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs)
- Promote and represent Conavi’s technologies at medical conferences and seminars, and/or to healthcare professionals at customers sites especially with early adapters, and other external stakeholders
You possess the following qualifications:
- Medical degree and ideally technical training such as engineering
- Clinical experience as a healthcare practitioner ideally within interventional cardiology
- Experience in successfully administration and management of clinical or research studies
- Medical device industry knowledge related to image guidance devices _(e.g., translation of patient and physician needs into product development and marketing, best practices)_
- Competencies including results-driven, business acumen, problem-solving, collaboration and teamwork
