**Overview**
Your Care Pharmacy is an independent, community-focused pharmacy dedicated to delivering excellent patient care and professional service. We are looking for an experienced Part-Time Pharmacy Assistant to join our team.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist in preparing and dispensing prescriptions with accuracy and efficiency
- Provide friendly, professional customer service to patients
- Manage prescription entry, billing, and third-party adjudication
- Maintain inventory, stock shelves, and ensure the pharmacy is organized
- Support the pharmacist with day-to-day operations and patient care services

**Qualifications**:

- Previous pharmacy assistant experience required (community pharmacy preferred)
- Experience with Fillware software preferred (or ability to quickly adapt to new pharmacy software)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Speaking Cantonese is considered a strong asset

**Duties**
As a Pharmacy Assistant, your responsibilities will include:

- Assisting pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications to patients
- Managing inventory by ordering, receiving, and stocking pharmaceutical supplies
- Providing excellent patient care by answering questions and addressing concerns regarding medications
- Maintaining accurate records of medication administration and patient information
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Utilizing medical terminology effectively to communicate with patients and staff
- Ensuring compliance with all safety and regulatory standards within the pharmacy

**Experience**
- Previous hospital experience is preferred, enhancing understanding of the healthcare environment
- Experience as a pharmacy technician is advantageous, providing familiarity with pharmacy operations
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology to facilitate effective communication within the healthcare team
- Demonstrated experience in medication administration and patient care, ensuring high standards of service

Pay: $17.20-$21.75 per hour
