Planiform was founded more than **50 years** ago and is specialized in designing, manufacturing and installing **automated conveyor systems** for distribution centers, retail stores and industrial laundries. Our conveyor and robotic systems are often **tailor-made** according to the needs of our customers. Planiform's sales are mainly in the **USA** and **Canada **andwe are currently expanding in Europe.

**What will your responsibilities be?**
As a Major Account Manager at Planiform, you will be responsible of a team of salespeople, a marketing contractor in the United States, and a sales contractor team in Europe. You will also be in charge of several clients. Also, your ideas will be listened to and taken into consideration and you will be considered a key player. This is the advantage of working for an SME
**Technical Sales Representative Duties**:
- Prepare complete proposals and presentations for clients.
- Work in collaboration with the engineering department for the design of solutions.
- Travel in Quebec and around the world to meet our clients (5 to 8 trips per year).
- Supervise the drafting of sales contracts and negotiate them with the client.
- Participate in trade shows.
- Participate in brainstorms with the sales team and do the preliminary design of projects.
- Establish business relationships with customers.
- Develop and maintain a network of contacts.
- Work in collaboration with the different departments.
**Duties of Sales Department Manager**:
- Develop and implement a strategic sales plan on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis in order to achieve sales objectives.
- Motivate the sales team in their daily performance through daily and/or weekly meetings.
- Facilitate meetings with the sales department to develop and implement sales strategies on a monthly/annual basis.
- Participate in the recruitment, selection, development, training and supervision of all sales employees.
- Being a member of the management committee.
- Support the team in order to provide proposals adapted to each client.
- Set up an annual departmental budget and monitor it.
**What we are looking for**:
- BAC in Engineering, Technical Engineering or any other related fields.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in B2B sales.
- Perfect command of English both orally and in writing, as our clients are mainly international. Understanding of French.
- Experience in technical sales.
- Experience with the international market.
- Experience with drafting and negotiating legal contracts.
- Experience with personnel management (an asset).
- Experience in the sale of intralogistics systems (an asset).
- Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment.
- Be a cheerful person
