Elixir Pharmacy is a pharmacy that is focused on patient-centric care. We collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals every day. We are focused on promoting a healthy lifestyle and helping our patients achieve their goals within our community. We are located in Varsity Estates NW, Calgary. We provide full scope of practice including prescription, compounding, and medication review needs.

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our team. We are looking for an individual who is energetic, eager to learn, passionate about their work and who is professional. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting the pharmacy operations, ensuring that patients receive the highest quality of care. You will work closely with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals in a retail pharmacy setting, assisting with medication management and patient inquiries.

**Duties**
- Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications to patients.
- Provide excellent patient care by answering questions and addressing concerns.
- Maintain accurate records of medication administration and inventory levels.
- Collaborate with healthcare staff to ensure efficient pharmacy operations.
- Utilize medical terminology to communicate effectively with team members and patients.
- Support the pharmacy team in managing prescriptions, including refills and transfers.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and safety protocols.
- Preparing compliance packaging to be checked by the pharmacist

**Qualifications**
- At least one year of previous experience as a pharmacy assistant
- Skilled Kroll experience and knowledge is REQUIRED
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Must be fluent in English
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
- A commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
- Completed the pharmacy assistant program or an equivalent through experience in a pharmacy setting

**Required Qualifications**:

- Driver's license
- Kroll experience
- Fluent in English
- Pharmacy assistant experience
