**Position Summary and Objectives** The Lease & Revenue Administrator reports to the Manager, Lease Administration to provide ongoing support and expertise to property management staff relating to interpretation of financial aspects of leases and tenant queries along with managing the administration of rent rolls and recording of revenue ensuring the tenant is billed in accordance with the legal lease documents. **Responsibilities** **Provide Superior Returns to our Investors through Accurate and Reliable Financial Information** - Analyze tenant leases and input lease information to financial systems lease database - Review of leases, recurring billing, report code and log information in Yardi ensuring accurate update of Lease & tenant information - Review and process tenant billings & adjustment requests from property administrators and rent roll reconciliations - Help facilitate accurate financial and operational reporting - Identify Lease exceptions as they relate to recoveries and manage the administration of these exceptions by tracking them in Yardi - Provide ongoing support and expertise relating to lease interpretation to property management staff - Monitor the set-up of the deals in Yardi ensuring that Revenue policies and procedures have been followed at all times - Set up new tenants in Yardi - Set up and update rent information as per lease documents - Review and analyze tenants accounts receivable and follow up with property manager with respect to collection, bad debt allowance and write offs **Deliver Excellent Service to Tenants** - Efficient and effective communication, in a professional manner, with all employees and clients - Support property management administration staff in responding to financial inquiries from tenants and vendors (receivables, CAM and Tax recoveries) **Perform other related responsibilities as requested from time to time** **Qualifications** **Education** - Undergraduate degree or college diploma preferred **Professional Experience** - Minimum of two (2) years of experience in lease administration accounting, preferably in a commercial/office property management environment - Ability to identify, evaluate and develop new ideas with supportable results - Strong analytical and accounting skills with excellent attention to detail - Experience with Yardi system an asset - Intermediate to advance Excel skills and working knowledge of real estate and property management financial accounting systems and software **Personal Competencies** - Supports teamwork environment with positive and professional attitude - Open to learning, developing new skills/knowledge - Focuses on results: anticipates problems, identifies solutions, takes action - Understands all aspects of job - impact on business goals - Proactively assesses, responds to workflow deficiency, adheres to CPMI policy - Goes the "extra mile" to understand and respond to tenant/customer needs - Flexibility to changing work conditions including interruptions and multi-tasking ability - Behaves and makes decisions that support CPMI goals/objectives - Conducts business consistent with sustainability - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Understands basic financial management; specifically procedures for expenses/revenues - Ability to work independently and under pressure, deal with deadlines - Demonstrates integrity in decision making, listening, treatment of others - Mentors and develops others CPMI is committed to accommodating employees with disabilities throughout their employment with Crown in accordance with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA).
