**Job Overview**
**Duties**
- Utilize welding techniques to join metal parts and components effectively.
- Read and interpret schematics to understand project requirements and specifications.
- Operate hand tools, forklifts, and other machinery safely and efficiently.
- Measure and cut materials using calipers and other measuring tools to ensure precision.
- Build assemblies according to design specifications while maintaining quality control standards.
- Rig materials for lifting as necessary, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve fabrication processes.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety regulations.
**Experience**
- Proven experience in fabrication or a related field is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various hand tools and machinery.
- Familiarity with welding techniques is essential; certification is a plus.
- Experience reading schematics and technical drawings is highly desirable.
- Ability to operate forklifts and cranes safely (certification preferred).
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on producing high-quality work.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
