**Key Responsibilities**:

- General Labourer-Furniture Assembly & Setup:
Assemble a wide range of furniture items, including beds, tables, chairs, and other home furnishings, following manufacturer instructions and blueprints.
- Inspect all furniture components for damages or defects before and after assemble
- Set up and arrange furniture on the showroom floor according to visual merchandising guidelines.

**Warehouse Operations**:

- Receive incoming shipments, including manually unloading and loading products from semi-trailers.
- Move and organize furniture within the warehouse, maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

**Heavy Lifting & Physical Demands**:

- Safely and repeatedly lift and move heavy furniture items,
- Adhere to all safety procedures and protocols to prevent injury to self or others.

**Packaging & Customer Preparation**:

- Carefully wrap and package assembled or floor-model furniture for customer pickup or delivery.
- Ensure all items are properly secured to prevent damage during transit.
- Load furniture into customer vehicles for pickup, providing excellent customer service.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Proven experience in furniture assembly or a similar warehouse/physical labor role is preferred, but on-the-job training will be provided.
- Ability to read and interpret assembly instructions and diagrams accurately.
- Proficiency with hand and power tools.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality control.
- Excellent physical dexterity and the ability to handle heavy lifting and strenuous tasks.
- Strong work ethic and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
- Ability to work a flexible retail schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.20 per hour
