**Job Overview**
**Responsibilities**
- Translate written materials from one language to another while maintaining the original meaning and context.
- Teaching key words or phrases to our support staff.
- Write and edit translated documents to ensure high-quality output.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members to clarify project requirements and expectations.
- Utilize linguistic skills to adapt translations for cultural nuances and regional dialects.
- Type accurately in multiple languages, including English and German, as needed.
- Collaborate with other translators or linguists to enhance translation quality and consistency.
**Requirements**:
- Proficiency in both German and English, with a strong emphasis on English; bilingualism is preferred.
- Experience in translation or interpretation within professional settings is a necessity.
- Strong understanding of linguistics and the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly.
- Familiarity with various translation tools and software is an asset.
- Excellent writing skills in both source and target languages.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment.
- Multilingual capabilities are a significant advantage, particularly in specialized fields or industries.
