Prairie Battery is family owned and operated retail / wholesale Battery company and has been servicing Western Canada for over 20 years.

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Using documents to find and pick product, pull warehouse items from the racking based on the part number and quantity.
- Ensure that orders are accurate.
- Stage items correctly
- Operate handling equipment and ensure safety regulations are followed.
- Acknowledge and identify any product that requires re-packing.
- Keep a clean and safe work area, while maintaining a high level of health and safety standards.
- Other duties as assigned.

**QUALIFICATIONS, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE**:

- previous experience working in a warehouse is an asset
- keen attention to detail
- ability to lift heavy objects
- ability to stay on feet for long periods of time
- positive attitude
- self-motivated
- safety conscious
- ability to work in a fast paced and busy environment
- excellent interpersonal skills
- ability to work well on a team while remaining self-motivated.
- forklift Experience an Asset

- Keeping up on maintenance of equipment and product
- dangerous goods training an asset
- automotive experience an asset

**Required**:

- Valid driver’s license and arrest-free criminal record are mandatory
- Should own a vehicle
- physically fit and able to lift a minimum of 50lbs.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $36,000.00-$42,000.00 per year
