The Bus Attendant is responsible for the bus loading and unloading of dependently handicapped children and ensuring their comfort and safety during transportation; maintains appropriate medical log; and performs other duties, as assigned.

**Required Qualifications**:

- Grade 10 education;
- previous experience dealing with severely developmentally disabled children;
- good interpersonal and communication skills;
- up-to-date First Aid and CPR training.

**Status**: Casual Bus Attendants must be available to work on call before and after school.

**Annual (or Hourly) Salary**: The hourly wage is $22.75/hour plus 4% in lieu of vacation pay.

If you are currently not an OCSB employee, at the completion of a successful interview, you will be required to provide an Original Police Record Check for the Vulnerable Sector dated within the last 6 months.
