Emergency Lighting is a global leader in the design, manufacture and marketing of specialized lighting solutions for emergency situations and extreme environments. Our pride lies in the creation of innovative products and services, enhancing the safety of buildings and offering people peace of mind. In this role you will oversee all steps in the life cycle of products, systems or services, including development, launch, maintenance, pricing and profitability of Emergency Lighting and Hazardous Location Lighting products and services in the covered regions.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Driving the profitability and life cycle of Emergency Lighting and Hazardous Location Lighting products and services by defining pricing guidelines and market position.
- Overseeing inventory levels and sales volumes to ensure ability to meet customer orders, while tracking and analyzing the performance and trends of Emergency Lighting and Hazardous Location Lighting products and services.
- Working closely with R&D to propose and evaluate product feasibility projects and roadmaps for new Emergency Lighting and Hazardous Location Lighting products and services.
- Providing technical and commercial assistance to the sales teams.
- Working closely with the HR team to ensure that the product & marketing teams are properly organized, staffed and directed.
- Guiding, coaching and developing the skills and knowledge of the sales teams.

**Your background**:

- More than 10 years of experience in a similar function, with strong technology background and a good understanding of the electrical construction/lighting industry.
- Sound knowledge of lighting products and IoT solutions.
- Demonstrated experience of managing product, marketing and sales strategy.
- Knowledge and experience of related products and solutions development in an agile organization.
- A collaborative, solution-focused approach, with strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- A bachelor’s degree of engineering, or equivalent experience.
- French and English bilingualism, spoken and written is an asset. French is required. English would also required to communicate with customers outside Quebec on a regular basis.
