**Shift Hours**: Monday to Friday; 8:00am -5:00pm
SUMMARY
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervise the freight auditing function by providing oversight, training, and support to team members.
- Audit freight bills to ensure the accuracy of charges and alignment with contract terms, rating structures, and fuel programs.
- Coordinate the timely assignment of charges for new accounts and ensure data integrity in Truckmate and Solomon.
- Monitor unrated shipments and probill activity, ensuring timely resolution and reporting on trends or issues.
- Maintain and verify customer rates and fuel surcharge programs, supporting updates and implementations in the TMS.
- Supervise the maintenance and improvement of rate templates, cost models, and audit checklists.
- Conduct regular billing audits and variance reviews, investigating discrepancies and ensuring billing compliance.
- Liaise with the Pricing and Revenue teams to support customer rate implementations, cost validations, and process refinements.
- Assist in the development of training resources and audit SOPs to improve consistency and knowledge sharing.
- Identify system or process gaps and propose improvements to increase rating accuracy and efficiency.
- Support cross-departmental projects related to billing, auditing, and revenue assurance.
- Prepare audit findings and insights for leadership and contribute to ongoing performance reporting.

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS
- Post-secondary education in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum 4-5 years of experience in freight auditing, LTL pricing, or transportation billing, with supervisory experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of freight rating principles, pricing programs, and transportation contracts.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office with advanced Excel skills.
- Experience with Truckmate and Solomon is an asset.
- Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and analytical ability.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across departments.
- Proven ability to lead, train, and mentor team members.
