**Service Technician (Virtual)**

Based out of our Hamilton office, you will be servicing accounts across South West Ontario, including Brampton area.
Our Service Technicians provide superior customer service to Canon clients, repairing and maintaining high-end black and white and colour printing equipment in an assigned territory.

**Key Responsibilties**
- Follow contact protocol when discussing service-related matters with Dispatch and FSM:
- Product information
- Customer concerns
- Parts problems
- Adhere to customer requirements in providing quality products and service
- Respond to customer calls in a prompt and efficient manner
- Accomplish assigned service calls thoroughly within an average time per call as defined by management
- Perform equipment repairs and conduct preventative maintenance using the most cost-efficient methods
- Complete standard network installations of equipment
- Fill out performance reports on unusual equipment problems
- Submit all service reports in a timely fashion
- Maintain parts inventory, and order parts as necessary
**To Succeed, You Will Need**:
- Completed post-secondary education (specialty in technical or technological electronics and/or business equipment)
- Minimum 4 years experience in a related field
- Computer knowledge (working knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office Suite)
- Demonstrated knowledge of and aptitude for electro-mechanics
- Proven knowledge of colour theory
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to deal with people in all levels of the organization and its customers in a diplomatic and professional manner
- Able to install and set-up delivered equipment
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to organize a territory effectively to minimize travel time and to maximize on number of clients to service
- Must possess a valid driver’s license, a safe driving record, and a dependable vehicle
