Hiring more than 300 people for the Halloween season, VHN is one of BC's top seasonal employers. **For this position, we are looking for charismatic, customer service-oriented people who will be responsible for the smooth operation of the queue line and entrance of the attraction(s).** - Ensuring maximum and mínimal group sizes entering the attraction(s) are adhered to at all times - Prior to Guests entering the attraction(s), explain safety procedures - Provide assistance to Guests entering the attraction(s) - Understand the POS system to facilitate upgrades to and check tickets - Keep area tidy of all trash or debris - Contact security to remove any disorderly Guests - Stay current with and enforce safety rules and procedures - Update wait times - Keep open communication with other involved team members - Other duties as required **_Skills & Experience Needed: _** - Strong interpersonal skills - Have patience and respect for all people of genders, races, abilities, and religions - Ability to vocalize clearly and authoritatively - Reliable, responsible and able to work as part of a team - Ability to work under pressure - Ability to work with mínimal supervision - Good time management skills - Ability to stand for long periods of time **_Benefits_** - We offer competitive wages - Free passes to our attractions for your days off - Discount on food while on shift - Unlike our Halloween attraction competitors, our entire attraction is indoors so your whole shift is in a temperature controlled environment - We are located right next to Lincoln Sky Train station for an easy commute **Job Types**: Full-time, Seasonal **Salary**: $16.00-$19.00 per hour Schedule: - 10 hour shift - 8 hour shift - Evening shift - Monday to Friday - Weekend availability
