As a **Laboratory Assistant I** for the **Sample Management **department located at the **Laval **site, the employee will provide general technical support within laboratories on company premises, as required. He (She) will carry out duties according to Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) at all times.
In this role, **responsibilities** may include:
- Receive or pick up samples from the facility
- Prepare the required materials for the study conduct
- Keep the samples well organized within the freezers and ensure proper documentation
- Perform maintenance/cleaning of the fridges and freezers
- Keep the working area clean and organized
**Key Elements
We are looking for the following minimum **qualifications** for this role:
- Minimum High School Diploma is required
- Good organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
- Detail oriented and meticulous
- English reading comprehension is mandatory. Bilingualism in French and English is preferred
**Role Specific Information**
Location**:Laval**/ Shuttle service between Montmorency metro station and the Laval site, Free parking
Schedule: Weekday schedule, Monday to Friday
Permanent position as of the hiring, full time 37.5hrs per week
