**THE ROLE**
The Sports Stores Technician organizes sports stores activities and equipment purchases according to established policies and regulations. They place orders and track materials and supplies. They prepare reports for supervisor, as required. They maintain records of distribution accounts and obtain quotes for goods/products from suppliers and submits to supervisor for purchases.

**QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED** Education, Certifications and Licenses**

High school diploma AND several years of experience in a related field

OR

An acceptable combination of education, training, and experience will also be considered

AND

Valid Driver’s License (Nova Scotia)

Valid DND 404 Military Licence, as required

Valid Forklift Operators certification, an asset

**Experience**

In issuing sports equipment

In the preparation and maintenance of outdoor sports facilities

In equipment maintenance/scheduling

In loss prevention

In inventory control

In record keeping/invoicing

In event planning

English Essential
