Warehouse and Clearance Center Worker

We are looking for a **Full-time Warehouse and Clearance Center Worker** **(Mon-Fri, 7:30am - 4:00pm)** to join our awesome, growing team. Reporting to the Warehouse Manager & Operations Manager, the Warehouse and Clearance Center Worker is responsible to deliver key warehouse and clearance center coverage duties.
Native Northwest distributes educational, gift, and fashion items featuring Indigenous art to stores across Canada and the United States. Native Northwest builds an everyday connection to Indigenous cultures by tying Indigenous artists’ distinct designs to bold, new concepts. 100% of the art featured on Native Northwest products is designed by Indigenous artists.
Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Picking and packing wholesale orders of all shapes and sizes.
- Assisting with price tagging and labeling stock when necessary.
- Maintaining a clean work environment and supporting a healthy workplace.
- Main point of coverage for the Clearance Center.
- Being able to serve customers by providing accurate information and assisting with their product selection.
- Performing all cash, debit, credit, returned, refund and exchange transactions efficiently and accurately.
- Helping when required to stock the stores inventory.
- Representing Native Northwest, its artists and art with respect and a positive attitude.
- Performing any other duties as assigned by supervisor(s).
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
- Possess good work ethics by demonstrating honesty, punctuality, and reliability.
- Strong interpersonal skills to engage with customers.
- Ability to handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints effectively, professionally, and independently.
- Previous experience in processing transactions in cash, debit, credit, returned, refunds and exchanges. POS system knowledge is required.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communications skills, able to receive and execute instructions.
- Attention to detail and able to work independently with mínimal supervision.
- Ability to be on your feet for long periods of time if needed.
- Ability to lift stock up to 50lbs as required.
**The base pay for this position is $18.50 per hour**. We have an experienced team that makes sure all team members come out trained and know general warehouse duties.
