Our Team is Growing

We are a well established independently owned community pharmacy in a busy medical building. We are looking for a highly motivated pharmacy assistant to join our team. Must be compassionate, friendly and have a strong work ethic. Proficient computer skills and knowledge of pharmacy software is essential. Two years of experience required. Position would be 2 days per week plus one weekend per month. Flexibility is required to cover extra shifts when needed.

**Responsibilities**:

- Greeting and assisting customers
- Answering telephones
- Accurate computer entry of patient information while respecting patient confidentiality
- Processing and filling prescriptions including billing to third parties
- Compliance packaging
- Ordering and receiving inventory
- Operating cash register (POS system)
- Maintaining dispensary and store supplies
- Maintaining clean shelves and removing expired product
- Other duties as needed

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 2 years pharmacy experience (required)
- Strong computer skills
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Friendly and motivated individual who takes pride in their work
- Ability to multi-task and work in a team environment
- Ability to manage inventory
