We are looking for someone who can make a positive first impression of our establishment. The host/ cashier will greet guests upon arrival, show guests to their table and take their payment as they leave.

The host/ cashier will also need to answer the phones and fill to-go orders/room services when needed. Availability must include days, nights and weekends.

**Responsibilities**:

- Greet incoming and departing guests warmly with a genuine smile and eye contact; escort them to their appropriate table
- Answer incoming calls to the restaurant and provide appropriate service ie. take reservations correctly
- Help restaurant staff by setting and clearing tables; replenishing water; serving beverages
- Receive payments
- Reconcile cash drawer by proving cash transactions; listing debits and credit card charges match the till receipts
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

**Requirements**:

- Must be able to articulate clear greetings and farewells to guests, as well as being able to understand requests for assistance
- Must be able to hear well in a loud environment in order to answer telephone and respond to guest requests
- Must be able to walk and stand during entire shift
- Must be able to reach, bend, stoop and wipe
- Must be able to use a POS terminal/debit machine
- Must be able to count back cash to customers after transactions are complete

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $15.00 per hour

Day range:

- Holidays
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

Shift:

- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Night shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Camrose, AB T4V 3K3: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- customer service: 1 year (preferred)
- Cashiering: 1 year (preferred)
