**Key position functions include**:

- Responsible for the management and coordination of plant operations including assembly, test, paint, tagging and shipping,
- Initiate plans and processes using lean methodologies to maximize efficiencies through the manufacturing department
- Ensure Department is complying with Stream-Flo Group Guiding Principles in terms of Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental regulations or policies
- Oversee hiring, training and discipline of all employees related to the Manufacturing facility
- Strive to meet and exceed established department KPI’s
- Develop plans to cross train employees, within the manufacturing department to ensure coverage across all areas
- Establish group and individual accountabilities throughout assigned departments.
- Implement lean manufacturing strategies and action plans to ensure that the facility supports Master Flo strategic initiatives
- Support and work with budgets and forecasts for the manufacturing plant including evaluation and proposals for capital expenditures
- Monitor and evaluate all in-house processes to ensure we are meeting customer requirements and expectations
- Ensure all department supervisors’ training files are kept up to date
- Oversee the operation of time and attendance
- Ensure building maintenance and machine maintenance is performed as required within
- Establish manufacturing priorities and allocate resources as required
- Ensure compliance with all applicable standards/procedures:

- Liaison with other departments to improves processes within the operation
- Graduate of Industrial/Manufacturing/Mechanical Engineering Technology with certification (C.E.T.) or equivalent, and or.
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment including 5 years of supervisory/managerial experience
- Strong leadership skills, independent thinking, strong organizational and planning abilities and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills are essential
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Good general computer operation skills and basic knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet software
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Results driven with accuracy and attention to detail
