As a Workspace Planner - Architectural Products, you would share Office Interiors’ vision to “Inspire People to Love the Way They Work,” and mission “to Help Customers Create Productive Work Environments.” This specialized role will allow you to combine your passion for space planning and helping people to create inspiring, innovative and collaborative workspaces while enhancing Office Interiors’ ability to provide clients with non-traditional product categories (modular walls, specialty storage, modular casework, and other niche products).

Reporting to our Director of Workspace Planning, the Workspace Planner - Architectural Products will work primarily with our VP Architectural Products to understand the needs of our customers and specify and prepare solutions to capture the design and specifications of niche architectural products within Office Interiors’ portfolio. You thrive on creativity, taking initiative and are passionate about contributing to your community and providing the best customer experience.

**What you will be doing**:

- Reporting to our Director of Workspace Planning, you will work with our VP of Architectural Interiors and other Account Managers to develop creative solutions and specifications that will ensure the best use of space and a design that will exceed our customer’s vision
- Using your product knowledge and technical skills to specify and value engineer the best possible solution for the customer’s workspace and provide a list of parts to the Account Manager
- Continuously learning and bringing new ideas and mentoring our team of experienced Workspace Planners to enhance their expertise in these specialized products
- Creating and maintaining internal training materials, templates, and resources
- Working with the Operations team and providing technical installation drawings for the installation team
- Visiting customer sites with the VP of Architectural Products and Account Managers
- Occasionally participating in market development, trade shows, community events and those sponsored by Office Interiors or our customers

**Your qualifications**:

- Post
- secondary education in Architectural Design, Architectural Engineering, Interior Design or a related field
- Knowledge of building codes and relevant regulations
- Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience working with commercial interiors or specialized commercial installations such as modular walls, specialty storage, casework or similar niche products is highly preferred
- Proficient in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit or similar) and Microsoft 365, CET Designer would be an asset
- A valid Driver’s license and reliable transportation
