Imperial Dade Canada, leading national distributor, has a job open in Toronto. We are looking to fill a Program Coordinator position. This position will have a portfolio of Customers, that will oversee and be responsible for the operation and performance of dedicated business units, National in scope. This role focuses on providing an exceptional experience to both internal and external customers.
Imperial Dade is the leading distributor of foodservice packaging, facilities maintenance supplies and equipment in the U.S and Canada. As a provider of customized supply chain solutions, the company serves customers in many business-to-business market segments including supermarkets, healthcare facilities, universities, and restaurants. **Responsibilities**:
- Build strong relationships with and interface on a day-to-day basis with Head Office contacts for established Corporate Account customers
- Manage the business within the pre-established Customer Operating Principles
- Provide exceptional levels of service when resolving customer issues, implementing product changes and programs
- Proactively resolve problems to avoid re-occurrences
- Accountable for initiating problem resolutions related to EDI Discrepancies, price/costing variances and chronic stock out issues
- Analyze daily inventory and backorder reports working closely with the Inventory Management team in opportunities for stock outs of critical items
- Effectively communicate potential service concerns to National Account Managers and Customer Service Professionals as well as Head Office as defined
- Use analytical skills to solve problems and demonstrate to internal support departments the customer program components for them to optimize their expertise
- Source new products for existing business
- Support Corporate Account Managers (CAM’s) when securing, executing, and maintaining customer programs
- Work in partnership with other key stakeholders to guarantee uninterrupted service to the customer by communicating customer requirements, additions and deletions and resolving issues promptly
- Communicate with suppliers as required to coordinate availability and program execution
**Qualifications**:
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively negotiate costs, terms, and quantities
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities/effectively manage time
- Demonstrated problem solving skills
- Effective business writing
- Ability to work autonomously
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite with advanced knowledge of Excel
- Customer Service skills: listen and respond effectively to customer questions, resolve customer problems to their satisfaction
- Problem solving and decision making: anticipate problems, see how a problem and its solution will affect other units, gather information before making decisions and arrive at reasonable decisions
- Organization skills and time management: able to manage multiple tasks; to determine priorities, use goals to guide actions, adapt well to changing priorities, deadlines and direction
- Post secondary education - Business Administration Diploma/Certificate or equivalent business experience required
- Minimum 2 years of experience in business / business analytics
- In depth knowledge of customer programs and program requirements an asset
