QA Analyst

**What is the role?**

We are looking for a Quality Assurance Analyst whose role will be to ensure the proper functioning of products before their release to the market. You will be responsible for developing or/and following test protocols; hardware or software. You will perform the necessary tests to ensure that the products work and meet the requirements of the specifications. To do this, you will work with the company's stakeholders. You will also perform, upon request, any other related tasks that may fall under this job. You will work closely with the test team coordinator.

The person we are looking for is proactive, autonomous and has demonstrated team spirit in the past. His/her professionalism and dedication contribute to the success of projects and the quality of relations with all. The Quality Assurance Analyst actively participates in the quality of the company's products.

**What will be your responsabilities?**
- Work in collaboration with several development teams: software, firmware, hardware
- Ensure the quality of products in development before their release to production
- Establish test strategy and planning
- Write test cases and scenarios
- Develop regression test plans
- Execute test cases
- Produce test reports
- Support systems testing (capacity, performance and robustness): collaborate in the development of scenarios and analysis of results
- Document problems to be corrected and improvements to be made
- Provide support and review for technical documentation
- Suggest techniques, processes and equipment to improve team and test efficiency
- Maintain the proper functioning of test rooms and equipment
- Maintain and improve the quality level of products
- Enjoy teamwork and be a good team player

**Essential**:

- Experience in quality assurance

**Important**:

- Computer, network and web knowledge

**Assets**:

- Knowledge in microelectronics and programming
- Knowledge in HVAC and building control
- Knowledge of LonWorks and/or BACnet protocols
- Knowledge of the Azure DevOps environment
- Knowledge of test automation (Ranorex)

**General criteria**:

- DEC or Bachelor's degree in electrical or computer engineering
- 3-5 years experience in quality assurance
- **Fluency in written and spoken French. Functional in written and spoken English**:

Pay: $1.00-$2.00 per year
