Toronto, Canada Rose Rocket Full time

Rose Rocket is a market leader in Transportation Management Software. We’re a startup going after the $700+ billion dollar trucking industry, leading the shift to SaaS while revolutionizing the way trucking companies sell, service, and innovate. We are a hyper-growth company with a “more human, less corporate” culture that is built around doing work that matters, winning as a team, and celebrating success. We’d love to hear from you if you want to build this with us.

We understand that joining a team is one of the most important decisions you make, and adding a team member is one of the most important decisions we’ll make. Through our process, we want you to get to know us and understand how you approach problems, learn, and what motivates you.

**The Position**:
Rose Rocket is looking for an enterprise and midmarket-focused Partner and Channel Manager to join our growing Enterprise Team. This role will be responsible for building and sustaining our channel program to ultimately deliver positive customer outcomes. The Manager will have functional and strategic responsibility for partner channel strategy and operationalization, partner relationships and outcomes, being the ‘Voice of the Partner’ within Rose Rocket driving positive and meaningful commercial and customer outcomes.

**Why we’re excited about this role**:
The trucking industry is a vital and important aspect of our economy. The people who make all of this happen deserve a great product that makes their days better and their businesses more efficient. We’re proud to have been serving them for the last 7 years. Heading into the next stage of our growth, our product and customer scope is getting larger and more comprehensive than ever before and the implementations more complex. We recognize that software alone won’t drive transformative change, and that partnering with best-in-class integrators, consultancies, device vendors and hyperscalers will better position us to solve our customers’ most complex problems.

**Job responsibilities**:
The _Partner and Channel Manager _will design and implement a revenue-generating channel program, identify the relevant partners that we will work with, onboard those partners, and work with those partners to achieve success for them and us in the enterprise and midmarket segments.

As this program will take time to ramp up, in the interim period the Manager will own a diminishing set of accounts and opportunities as an extended member of our Account Executive team.

**Key Responsibilities**:
The key responsibilities for this role include:

- Support the development of the Channel Strategy: Design and build the tactics that Rose Rocket will use for delivering mutual success with partners, including offerings, programs, joint marketing, onboarding, issue escalation and resolution.
- Execute on the Strategy: Actively enlist and manage partners, resulting in larger opportunities and better customer outcomes, taking feedback and modifying as-we-go. Support partners to be successful, and escalate when required. Identify and report on a set of metrics that lets Rose Rocket management gauge the success of partner initiatives.
- Industry / Client Expertise and Outcomes Alignment: Develop a deep understanding of the Transportation Management Software (TMS) industry to create differentiation between us and our competitors in the minds of our partners. Identify offerings that can be packaged and taken to market by partners.
- Relationship Building: Build trusted relationships with key partner stakeholders, and represent the interests of partners to internal Rose Rocket leadership.
- Detailed Product/Service Knowledge: Be an expert on Rose Rocket and understand how they can be leveraged to help clients achieve desired outcomes.
- Lead by Example: Be active within your team and the company - participate in meetings; volunteer to lead initiatives; escalate questions or issues to leadership; seek feedback; engage your reports, manager, or other leadership for support when needed

**What you’ll need to be successful**:

- Experience in a fast-paced, hyper-growth SAAS organization of relevant size and scope
- Existing relationships with potential and current partners, including cloud hyperscalers, systems integrators, consultancies, ELD hardware vendors and potentially other software vendors.
- Ability to easily build relationships and work with executive stakeholders
- Client-facing comfortability, including handling emergency/crisis situations
- Strong ability to develop strategy, be agile, think critically, and coach accordingly
- Project management, dashboarding, measurement, and planning skills
- Familiarity with ERP and other enterprise software: Oracle, SAP, Salesforce, ServiceNow, Dynamics.

Don’t sweat it if you don’t have everything listed above. We believe in growth and curiosity. If you have some of these qualities and are excited about this opportunity, then we want to hear from you
