**Job description**
- **Assistant Teachers Needed**_

Extra Ed is hiring teaching assistants to help in the delivery of a wide range of programs in elementary, middle and high schools throughout the GTA, including downtown Toronto, York Region and Peel.

**Responsibilities**
- To assist in the delivery of programs in elementary, middle, and high school students. This includes escorting kids to and from rooms within schools, helping the teacher maintain order during classroom instruction and activities, and to be a positive presence to the students.
- Collaborate with other instructors, educators and Extra Ed staff.
- Attend training seminars and scheduled meetings.

**Requirements**:

- Some background working with kids strongly preferred, but we do make exceptions.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Well-organized, punctual and professional.
- Creative and energetic.
