Architectural Draftsperson

**Overview**

**Architectural drafters use CAD software to develop detailed drawings, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and construction details.**

**CO-OP students currently enrolled in college/university are welcome to apply.**

**Responsibilities**
- Create detailed 2D and 3D drawings using CAD software, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project specifications.
- Develop schematics for various projects, including architectural layouts.
- Collaborate with engineers and architects to refine designs and incorporate feedback into drafts.
- Utilize software such as AutoCAD and Revit to enhance design capabilities.
- Prepare presentation materials, including 2D animation and visual aids, to communicate design concepts effectively.
- Maintain organized records of all drafts and revisions for future reference.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in all drafted materials.

**Requirements**:

- **Proficiency in CAD software is required.** SolidWorks and Revit are highly desirable but not required.
- Strong understanding of drafting principles and practices.
- Ability to create accurate schematics and technical drawings.
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality control.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- A degree or certification in drafting or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.

Contract length: 6 months

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week
