Hamilton, Canada Abington Court Retirement Residence Full time

1) Plan, implement and evaluate the activity programs to meet the psychosocial and physical stimulation needs of the residents within budget restraints.

2) Develop and complete individual recreation profiling for each resident and maintain such confidential records. Reviews and updates evaluated semi-annually for every resident.

3) Recruit, orientate, assist, schedule, and evaluate the volunteers within the facility, under the authority of the administrator.

4) Promote the residents council and assist its executive as required.

5) Create and maintained relationships with community speaking groups, hobby groups, associations, colleges and universities to bring in speakers, entertainment, volunteers, for information sessions/activities into the residence to promote resident participation in community involvement.

6) Maintain the listing and blog of activates, calendars, and/or social enrichment for the company website for the promotion of activities within, or in partnership with Abington Court.

7) When require, screen all incoming visitors and staff for Covid symptoms as per government mandate.

8) Every day around lunchtime, inquire dinner choices and or needs with every resident.

**Salary**: $15.50-$17.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

All employees must be fully vaccinated, masks are required for all staff.
