Behaviour Interventionists assist in the implementation of skill acquisition and behavior reduction treatment plans for individuals with developmental disabilities and behavioural disorders. They independently run therapy sessions in the client's homes where they effectively use Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) Strategies to teach new skills. They must record and collect data on client's progress, and communicate and coordinate with their supervisor on progress, concerns, or changes in the implementation of the treatment plan.

Preference will be given to those with a background in Applied Behaviour Analysis or planning to pursue a Master's degree in Applied Behaviour Analysis and in need of BCBA supervision.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities** include the following. Other duties may be assigned:

- Work 1:1 with assigned individual implementing behavior reduction and skill acquisition goals within the home setting
- Receive direct supervision and implement feedback as outlined by the supervising Behaviour Consultant or BCBA
- Follow a trauma-informed approach to behaviour analysis as instructed by our highly qualified consulting team
- Collect ongoing treatment data on behavior and skill specific goals
- Participates with all other team members in development of treatment plan
- Experience working with children is preferred but job specific hands on training is provided
- Flexible schedule where you can make your own hours for daytime, evening and/or weekend work. Shifts are typically 1-3 hours long and occur in a client's home.

This job entails contractor work that requires professional liability insurance, a clean criminal record check and managing personal taxes. Having access to a vehicle is required. Please note that most sessions are between 1 and 2 hours long.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour
