**LOGISTICS COORDINATOR - JOB DESCRIPTION**

CORE Linepipe is growing, and we are looking for a Logistics Coordinator to join our Operations team at our Crossfield manufacturing facility. Be a part of the excitement

Reporting directly to the Safety, Quality, & Logistics Manager, the Logistics Coordinator is responsible for the yard crew and materials in the yard. This role involves the supervision and direction of the yard crew, the organization, storage, and inventory of raw and finished materials and the upkeep of yard equipment and yard facilities. Responsibilities also include the operation of tools, equipment, and electronic movements internally on our inventory system.

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**

**HEALTH AND SAFETY**
- Ensure workplace safety by actively participating in CORE’s Safety Program.
- Strictly adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Assist in creation and maintenance of SWPs, HAAs and other documentation.
- Complete employee training, ensuring competency.
- Ensure yard crew has adequate tools and training to perform their tasks.

**LOGISTICS AND COORDINATION**
- Coordinate the timing and location of deliveries/shipping to ensure the plant is continually supplied with pipe and parts.
- Coordinate logístical processing of customer orders, including coordination with vendors, sales personnel, warehouse and shippers.
- Prepare and coordinate customs documentation and liaise with customs agents.
- Schedule trucking and coordinate load times for client.
- Effectively work with other departments, vendors and contractors to achieve targets.

**EQUIPMENT OPERATION AND SUPERVISION**
- Supervise the operation of heavy equipment (loaders, forklifts, telehandlers, sand spreaders & pickup trucks).
- Coordinate the safe operation of loading and unloading pipe to the plant, throughout the yard and from trailers.
- Schedule heavy equipment servicing and repairs.

**MATERIAL HANDLING AND INVENTORY**
- Liaise with partners and vendors regarding inventory status, inventory counts and material movements.
- Organize and move various materials throughout the facility; location selection, inventory turns.
- Monitor pipe storage; bases, stops, triangle wedges, pipe packaging.
- Lead pipe and materials storage location and optimization.
- Inspect incoming materials at the time of unloading including completing incoming inspections.
- Review the accuracy of materials to the client at the time of shipping.

**REQUIRED QUALIFICATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS & EDUCATION**
- Two years of relevant experience operating wheel loaders and telehandlers
- Strong work ethic with high personal standards for performance
- Heavy lifting (Example; pipe dunnage/machined parts)
- Computer skills required
- Two years’ relevant experience as a team lead / or supervisor
- Experience with Quality Management Systems, and willingness to participate in training, improvement, and preventative/corrective measures.

Pay: $33.00-$38.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 44 per week
